The "Timeless Glass" exhibit, displaying glass creations from through the centuries, opened Sept. 20 at the Mingei International Museum Satellite in Escondido. The exhibit is rich with historical flair, refined grace, and fragile beauty.
"So highly treasured is the glass that even the thinnest and most delicate object has been carefully handled and passed down without a crack from generation to generation," said Martha Longenecker, founding director and president of the Mingei International Museum based in Balboa Park.…
